Gracie works in the typing pool in an office downtown. She loves the clackety clack of the typewriters and the gossip at morning tea. She takes the bus each morning in her best houndstooth pencil skirt and white court shoes, and always a flowers in her hair - it's her signature piece.
Gracie stands approximately 40cm high (16 inches) and sits atop a wonderful vintage metal funnel. She is made entirely from needle felted wool with hand painted glass eyes and a clay nose.
She's very sweet and looks as though she'd love a cuddle but unless you want her to look like your favourite old sweater, it's best to resist the urge to pat her too often.
My felted sculptures are hand made in my studio in Perth Australia from 100% Australia wool needle felted to create their shape. Each one is absolutely unique and comes with a wonderful little story to help you get to know them better.
