This is Betty. She’s been a bridesmaid thirteen times, and while she loves it all - the fuss, the dress, the party….she wonders when her turn will come to be the one in white.
Betty stands approximately 40cm high (16 inches) and sits atop a wonderful vintage metal funnel. She is made entirely from needle felted wool with hand painted glass eyes and a clay nose.
She's very sweet and looks as though she'd love a cuddle but unless you want her to look like your favourite old sweater, it's best to resist the urge to pat her too often.
My felted sculptures are hand made in my studio in Perth Australia from 100% Australia wool needle felted to create their shape. Each one is absolutely unique and comes with a wonderful little story to help you get to know them better.
