Myrtle holds the record at the Easter Show for blue ribbon wins - six for her sponge cake and thirteen for her tomato aspic. Nobody does tomato aspic anymore - she fears it's a lost art.
Myrtle stands approximately 40cm high (16 inches) and sits atop a wonderful vintage metal funnel. She is made entirely from needle felted wool with hand painted glass eyes and a clay nose.
She's very sweet and looks as though she'd love a cuddle but unless you want her to look like your favourite old sweater, it's best to resist the urge to pat her too often.
