Francis is the third and youngest brother of the Dorper-Cross clan and was convinced from a very young age that he was swapped at birth, that perhaps his mother had brought home the wrong son, so unlike his elder brothers was he.
He is a one of a kind sculpture made from many layers of frayed and faded antique and vintage textiles over clay and wire. Each little piece of fabric carries a story of a life before Francis and they all come together to make him such a gorgeous bloke.
My sculptures are hand made in my studio in a beachside cottage in Perth Australia. Each one is completely unique and comes with it's own delightful story about each character's life and adventures. You can read Francis's full story here.
Francis is a sculpture - he may look cuddly but he's not a toy. Francis is mounted on a timber post and base.
Francis measures 40cmW x 38cmD x 60cmH
