Svetlana the fast footed emu - Svettie to her friends is a one of a kind sculpture and is made from many layers of frayed and faded antique and vintage textiles over clay and wire. Each little piece of fabric carries a story of a life before Svettie and they all come together to make her so gorgeous.
My sculptures are hand made in my studio in a seaside suburb of Perth Australia and come with a delightful story about each character's life and adventures.
Svettie is a sculpture - she may look cuddly but she's not a toy. She has a hanging bar on the back so she can be easily mounted on your wall with a simple picture hook or nail.
